About Us

Hi! My name is Tess Pilcher. My husband Caleb Pilcher and I are the owners and operators of Owl Creek Farm!

Our passion for agriculture started at a very young age. I grew up showing livestock and went on to Kansas State University (Go Cats!) to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Caleb has hunted, fished, and worked on the farm his whole life. He went on to earn a degree in Precision Agriculture at Highland Community College and a degree in Heavy Equipment Operation at North Central Kansas Technical College.We both grew up in Hiawatha and knew we wanted to move back to the area that shaped who we are today. We bought our farmhouse in April of 2021 and moved home to renovate it after we graduated from college! We took most of the rooms down to the studs and completely remodeled the house inside and out. It was a lot of work, but it was worth it because we finally have our dream home!

We have two dogs, Huck and River, who are always keeping us on our toes! We also have a flock of chickens, quail, and a whole herd of cats! We are the caretakers of a herd of Purebred Angus Cattle. We enjoy spending time outside with our animals.
